Privacy policy

This policy describes what AMP collects and how it is used during the early beta. The short version: AMP stores information so it can remember and help, and it uses service providers to run the product.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your email address, chat messages, saved memories, calendar items, reminders, feedback, and images you choose to upload.

We also process basic technical and product-usage information needed to operate, secure, debug, and understand whether features are working. AMP currently logs lightweight action analytics to server logs. The current codebase does not include advertising or data-sale integrations.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide memory recall, conversations, reminders, calendar features, notifications, personalization, customer support, product improvement, and service security.

AI and service providers

AMP uses OpenAI's API to process AI requests. Relevant prompts, recent conversation, saved context, or user-submitted images may be sent to OpenAI when needed to answer a request.

Voice input may be processed by your browser or device speech service. AMP's server voice endpoints use an OpenAI-compatible provider when configured.

AMP uses Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL for application data, Vercel for application hosting and deployment, and Resend for event reminder emails. These providers process data needed to deliver their part of the service.

OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default. Its standard API abuse-monitoring logs may retain content for up to 30 days.

Security

AMP uses HTTPS in production. Passwords are stored as salted password hashes rather than plain text. Supabase states that hosted customer data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit using TLS.

No online service can promise perfect security. Because AMP is an early beta, do not store highly sensitive secrets or safety-critical information.

The current image-upload system is not intended for confidential documents. Do not upload sensitive images.

Retention and deletion

Active short-term memories are designed to expire after 48 hours. Other account, chat, calendar, reminder, notification, feedback, and uploaded data may be retained while your account remains active or as needed to operate the service.

Individual memories and calendar items can be removed in AMP. Self-serve account deletion is not available yet. Email admin@amplyai.org to request account or broader data deletion.

Export and contact

AMP does not yet offer self-serve data export.
